Review 10: The Best Song Of All Time!

Source

We are fast approaching the one month anniversary of this fine website, and in honour of that event, as well as my tenth review, I thought I'd make this review extra special.

Every few decades, there comes a song to blow all the others out of the water. A song that plays with such force and beauty that it drives grown men to shed manly, manly tears. A song that demonstrates not only the brilliance of life and love, but also that of loss and heartbreak. My heart nearly bursts when this kind of song begins to play, and I stop whatever I am doing, just to listen.
No written description can come close to describing the true emotion of this level of masterpiece.
And of all things, this community has brought us one such song.
When I first heard it on Celestia Radio, I knew I was listening to the true masterpiece of our time. This will go down in history, I thought, as the best song of the 21st Century. Nothing will ever top it.

Fillies and Gentlecolts, after such buildup, may I present to you...
Luna performed and written by former Celestia Radio DJ, Prison.

Make sure you listen to it all the way through to receive the full effect of this beautiful creation.

As I'm sure you can hear, Prison's dulcet tones reverberate from the speakers with such forcefulness, such strength, such feeling! I hope that I have successfully introduced you to the song of your dreams. The song you will now listen to each morning as you wake up. The song that reminds you of the beauty of life. The song that you will want played at your funeral to march you into Celestia's glowing light as the final curtain comes down.

Never before have I felt this way about a song. I can only hope it had the same effect on you.

  1. Was this song meant to be amazing or painful to listen to? I'll assume that this was a joke.... :p

I know what you mean. It's bad, but it won't go away. Once it repeats itself about two hundred times, it starts to grow on you.
