Be Back In A Few Days
I'll leave you with this song, because it's pretty late here and I quite like it.
Musical Analysis 2
Hello again, everypony! It's sonic30 again, with my second review. This time around, I'm doing a song called "Spectrum (Rainbow Dash's Theme)" by Acoustic Brony. I'm doing this one for two reasons. One, Multifish did a review of a song about the one and only Rainbow Dash, so I thought I'd do one, too. Two, I wanted to point you all towards a pony who has some real talent. All of the artists you've mentioned so far in the comments are indeed great, but I haven't seen anypony mention Acoustic Brony yet. Well, read on past the break for the review!

Review 4: At The Gala (20% Cooler Remix) - SimGretina
After having covered nothing but songs based around an older style of music so far, and all music inspired by the show, I thought I should make the next one a bit more modern. This is also the newest song I’ve yet reviewed, only having appeared a week or two ago.
Musical Analysis 1
Hey, everypony, it's sonic30. Seeing as how this is my first review here on Equestrian Rhythm, I thought I’d go ahead and do it on the first pony remix I heard. It’s called “Party With Pinkie” by DJ Alex S.
I was trying to think of how to sum it up, but Alex S put it in the perfect wording with his YouTube description: “This song is dedicated to the one and only Pinkie Pie. I've combined every one of her solo songs (as in, everything except Winter Wrap Up and At The Gala) into one huge glitchy song. And it's electro!” It is indeed one huge glitch of a song that represents Pinkie Pie. I believe that, if her mind were to be constantly playing a techno style song, this would be the tune it played.
Introducing sonic30
Hey, everypony! This post is just going up to let all of you know that Multifish isn’t going to be doing this alone anymore. I’m sonic30, and I’m so glad that Multifish agreed to let me help out. We just got to talking about what I could do, and my favorite quote from Multifish was “That means YOU can handle those particular reviews!” Anyway, I’m on here mainly to help Multifish keep up with writing so many reviews. There are way too many great songs out there for one pony to handle. In the words of Big Macintosh, “One pony, plus hundreds of amazing fan made songs, just doesn’t add up!” Yes, he did say that in the show. Go watch season 1 again. You’ll find it. Back to the point: I’ll be putting up some reviews and overall just helping Multifish keep up with the huge workload that running a site like this can create. There are just so many talented fans of the show out there that keep pumping out amazing songs.
Well, I hope you guys enjoy the site and watch as it slowly grows. Who knows, maybe we could turn little ol’ Equestrian Rhythm into tomorrow’s database for everything pony music. It’d take some time to do, but it’d be cool if we could make it happen! Well, until next time!

Review 3: Undeserved Sins - Jeffthestrider
For those of you who have not read Past Sins, I must recommend it. Admittedly, I haven't finished it, only up to chapter 16 or so, I think. Haven't read any fanfic for a while now, actually...
But I digress. This song was crafted in honour of the first ten chapters, set out in four distinct acts.
For those of you who have not read the fic this review will contain SPOILERS!

"Other" Votes In Poll
When you voted "Other" just who did you have in mind?
Also, damn you ponies are musical! Today alone saw the release of over twenty songs! I might just go "To hell with the old" and review whatever comes to hand. Had to try and wrangle the thrice cursed (Yes, thrice cursed) school network to try and get one review up. Should have plenty of time tomorrow to write. For now, bed.
Chuck your answers to that above question in the comments.
Review 2: Summer - Griffin Village (JackleApp)
First, thank you all for your support! Even if you just dropped by, it's greatly appreciated. If you do happen to stop by, you should vote in that there poll on the right. Makes it look like there's more people here.
Second, this song... I really like this song. It's... nice.
Actually, scratch that, it's freaking adorable. The opening bars never fail to put a smile on my face, and the small beats gradually added create a soft buildup to the vocals. Not only does this man have a... well, I'd hardly say good voice, but it's better than a few this community turns out. It certainly suits the light and fluffy themes of the song. Of course, the lyrics add to that.
The story is basically that of a pegasus pony that comes to Ponyville, breaks his wings, and is taken in by Lyra and Bon Bon. The pegasus seems to gain a bit of a crush on Lyra, but is of course disappointed in the end due to the apparent relationship between the unicorn and earth pony. The pegasus leaves town in an adorably poetic listing of colours. It works, trust me.
There are a couple of parts where the synthesizer grates slightly, and of course, if you're not into pop at all, this probably isn't your thing. I almost skimped over this song when I first heard it, but confound these pony songs they drive me to expand my musical tastes! If a song like this happened to come on the radio (other than this) I'd probably switch station... until I realized it was about ponies.
I can't stress enough how much this song made me smile the first time I properly listened to it. It's so "Plushie Pop", all synthy and light. Hee heeee! Adorable!
...
I honestly can't remember what else I was going to write about this song... Weird.
Oh well. I'll try to get another review, probably of a more serious song, up by later tonight.
I swear, though, the verse, "It made me blue, and a little bit green, but they were flushed red with love. I'm too yellow to tell them I'm leaving today, under the orange sunset above" is one of my favourites of any song.

Review 1: Rainbow Rhapsody - Makkon
For my first review/overview, I decided to do one of the first pony themed songs I ever heard. Already a month old when I first listened to it, Rainbow Rhapsody uncovered to me the wonderful world of pony music in a non-remixey way.
Opening to a nice, quite ceremonial sounding introduction, Rainbow Rhapsody allows the listener to relax before a short buildup, followed by a sudden blare of the trumpet before kicking into top gear with its delightfully paced action styled performance. Each time I hear it, I'm forced to think of one of two things; James Bond, and the Wonderbolts among other pegasi.
The pace and tone build rapidly after sufficient flying, before reaching the crescendo of the Sonic Rainboom itself! The creator admits to it sounding slightly misplaced, to which I must somewhat disagree. It breaks the tension placed by the buildup in a way only a brony can truly appreciate, which, while perhaps restricting the composer's listener base, makes it all the more special.
The track then brings the listener back down to Earth (I mean Equestria!) with another gentle lilt following the theme set earlier in the song. The end intertwining with the beginning in the fashion of quite a few of Makkon's songs, is a fine way conclude.
All in all, I find this song to be quite good, indeed, and a fine song to introduce ponies to the musical side of our not-so-little subculture.

Kick Off With A Top 10
I'm thinkin' I might do one of these each month, a top 10 of the latest tunes from this fine community of ours. But here are my current highest rating songs from the pony fanbase. It's what my opinion is now, and will probably change over time.
10. This Song Made Man A Fluttershy - Froogogz
9. Pinkie Pie's Exomix (It's Called A Party Remix)
8. Flutterwonder
7. A Waltz For Trixie
6. Summer
5. Rainbow Rhapsody
4. Avast Octavia's Plot
3. At The Gala (20% Cooler Remix)
2. Winter Wrap Up Late Again - Makkon Befriends PPS
1. Luna Deos
Damn that was hard to put together... You guys need to stop making such great music.

Welcome to Equestria Rhythm!
This blog is still in its early stages, so don't judge too harshly, but here's the basic outline of what we do here:
1. Gather the best of the best pony music in one reliable place... Or the pretty good... Or the good enough to mention... Or the comically bad...
2. To report on individual songs and song selections and bring in informed reviews. (I say informed, but really just mean opinionated)
3. To spread the joy of certain songs with a special place in my heart!
So I guess we'll get started! I'm not sure how often I'll update, it'll probably be pretty erratic at first, but most likely more than once a week.
(Disclaimer: My opinions will change over time and the more I listen to a song)
